| Abstract: | A presente pesquisa versa sobre a problemática do contato linguístico entre o xichangana com o português e o inglês na região sul de Moçambique. O objetivo é identificar os empréstimos lexicais provenientes do português e do inglês no xichangana bem como os processos da sua integração. Conclui-se que os empréstimos vindos do português e do inglês são adaptados ortográfico-foneticamente integrando-se nas classes nominais e seguindo as normas da gramática do xichangana. |
